Some settings are not synced or synced not as expected via the Settings Sync solution released in the 2022.3 version of my IDE. What info is needed to submit a request to support?
1. Collect Logs and Configs from both source and target computers:
- IDE logs for both IDEs from the source and target computers
Logs typically contain environment info, exceptions, and errors related to IDE, including the exceptions from the Settings Sync plugin.
- Archived configuration directories of both new and old IDEs
It contains the Git history of Settings Sync directory, so support can find out what exactly happened to the settings.
