Share live templates across IDEs

Hello Tobias Vossen, could you please specify which IDE versions you use? 

The Live Templates should be synced between IDEs if the cross-IDE synchronization is enabled in the Settings | Settings Sync window:

IDE version is 2022.3.2 and my live templates are located under the user template group, but that shouldn't matter, right?

Yes, the Live templates group doesn't matter; it should be synced with any group.

I recommend you update your IDEs to the latest available releases 2022.3.3 where it is possible: we included several important fixes for the Settings Sync solution with this bugfix release. Also, if one of the IDEs you use is Rider, there is an explanation for this behavior: we still use the old IDE Settings Sync plugin with Rider, but for other IDEs, we introduced the new Settings Sync plugin in 2022.3; settings couldn't be synced between these two solutions. 

For further investigation, please, provide me with the following data:

• IDE logs from the IDE where the Live templates weren't synchronized (it's needed to exclude any errors that can cause the issue you met);
• the settingsSync folders from the configuration directories of two IDEs: the one where the Live templates are presented and the one where it's absent (it's needed to check the Settings Sync history).

You can share it privately via JetBrains Uploads service and post here the ID you receive.
