CLION symbols not appearing correctly for chess project.

Hello I programmed a chess game in clion and I am having some issues with the symbols for the pieces appearing correctly

The image below is my friend running the same exact project/ code on his computer and his looks like this... We are unable to figure out why ours differ given the code is the same.
