Local History stops working Follow
Just updated to this 23.1 RC version and encountered this bug twice in the last few days.
For reasons unknown, the local history stops working correctly sometimes.
WS will get into a state where I can undo exactly once after making changes, but it reverts ALL changes to the file back to its original state since I opened the file. I can't redo to get my changes back, they're just lost and I have to type it all again.
If I open the "Edit" menu the "Undo" and "Redo" options are greyed out. No history is retained.
Workaround: Close WS completely and start it up again, and it will work correctly again. It's not enough to close the project and re-open it via the starting menu. I have to close that too or the bug will persist.

It must be a problem with copilot. Please follow https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/49435 for updates
Thanks Elena!
I struggled to find the root cause, it started failing when I upgraded to WebStorm 2023.1 so I thought this was the culprit, but indeed it was Copilot instead.
Solved the issue to unactivate it.
