Editing packages by clicking the right mouse button in Oracle DB.

Answered

It would be great to be able to open the PL/SQL code of a package (or function) with a hot key, having the cursor at the place where this package was called. Immediately correct the code and immediately compile, receiving an error message, if any. In other words, the functionality of the PL/SQL Developer is missing. Perhaps there is such a functionality, but I did not find it.

Hi Vitaliy,

Thank you for contacting us.

This can be achieved from Go To context menu(see screenshot)

From there, you can update the object and recompile it(see screenshot). To navigate, you can hover over an object and use ctrl+ left-click combo.

Let me know if you have questions.
