Question - manual installation of remote backend

Answered

Is there a way to manually install a remote idea backend and a bunch of plugins?
The idea is to create an image (specifically aws ami) that will be ready for developers to use, i.e. one will only have to connect to the instance and everything will be there.

You can download, unpack and place an IDE archive to desired location on remote server; then to point the remote development scripts to use it: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2023.1/remote-development-a.html#register_backend_IDE

and then to install the plugins from the command line: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2023.1/work-inside-remote-project.html#manual_install
