How do I set up my desktop machine as a host with CLion?
Answered
I want to be able to work with my desktop from anywhere in my home using my laptop. I know that Jetbrains has integrated remote development features recently and I recall using them before on IntelliJ when they were in beta but it seems to have changed from since then.
My desktop is a windows machine and has much better hardware than my laptop. How can I set this up? ANy advice? Do I just set up remote control on my windows machine? Do I incorporate WSl2 here? Etc etc...

Hello!

Unfortunately, only Linux is currently supported as a server in case of remote with the thin client. There are plans to add support for Windows and macOS - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/GTW-27. Feel free to comment or upvote the issue in order to get updates.
