Settings sync problem

In WebStorm, i downloaded an SQL Plugin, which completely broke Webstorm, it always shows an error when i want to start it. Reinstalling it fixes the issue, but the Plugin has automatically been pushed to settings sync, so when i want to get my settings, it always downloads the broken plugin, which makes it impossible to use Settings sync in WebStorm, are there any known fixes?

Hello Gojon2000. Please, try to do the following:

  • disable Settings Sync selecting the Remove data... option;
  • make sure that the Settings Sync was disabled in all IDEs;
  • delete the plugin in all IDEs where it was installed; it could be faster to delete it manually from the IDEs plugins directories while the IDEs are closed;
  • start one of the IDEs;
  • enable Settings Sync selecting the Push Settings option.
