Hello,
I've forked JetBrains/intellij-community GitHub repository, made a few changes, committed them and created a pull request (https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-community/pull/495).
I've already signed the CLA some time ago.
How does the approval process works? Are the pull requests managed by someone or do we need to let someone know?
Is there a specific forum for contributions or is this the appropriate one?

Yes, there are responsible developers who manage pull requests. No need to notify anyone.
They are already looking at your pull request.

Hello Dmitriy,
A few days after my last post my pull request was assigned but, since then, there was no evolution.
I've even commented on the pull request conversation, giving information on what were the changes and how to easily test them.
I know that you guys have several other things to do and that it's not a great improvement, but how can someone check what is being done on a submitted pull request? It's kind of frustrating checking everyday for some update and find none...
