How to open remote files using keyboard???

I have tried every possible keyboard shortcut combination but was unable to figure out how to open remote files using only keyboard.

Anybody knows how to do it?

Hi there,

Please provide details.

Are you trying to edit remote file directly .. or you just browsing Remote Host and want to open local copy of that file etc?

In any case (using Default keymap on Windows):

  • F4 (Jump to Source) is a standard shortcut -- IDE will open local copy of that file (from IDE point of view local files are The Source, everything remote -- is a copy)
  • Remote Edit (without downloading file into the project (well, file will be downloaded anyway .. it just will be done in some temp location and file will be deleted when editor closed)) -- this has no default shortcut -- just "Settings/Preferences | Keymap | Plugins | Remote Hosts Access" and assign any desired shortcut to "Edit Remote File" action
