2016.3 Minitest spec support

Answered

Hi,

I am running the Rubymine 2016.3.1, I have a simple minitest spec file named 'class_under_test_test.rb'

require "test_helper"

describe ClassUnderTest do
describe "perform" do
subject { described_class.new.perform }

it 'will be ok' do
assert subject
end
end
end

When I press any of the usual shortcuts for running it alt+shift+f10 or ctrl+shift+f10 they don't seem to work anymore, they used to work in 2016.2

Hello,

is there any error or warning message? Would it be possible to provide a project sample?

I don't get any error message, the run test's option simply does not appear in the menu, I will try to extract a sample projec for you soon.

I get the exact same thing. I'm unable to run the tests, not even the whole file from the context menu, there is no option to run the current configuration, for the current file. There was in 2016.2

There is one when you choose to run a folder, so I can run the entire spec folder.

Did you also check how it goes in 2017.1 EAP? In case you're still facing problems with tests' running, a project sample for reproduce would be very helpful.

Indeed the latest version solves this problem:

RubyMine 2017.1 EAP
Build #RM-171.2455.2, built on January 17, 2017

Thanks for the followup.
