PhpStorm is scanning my emails, 100% cpu usage
Could you tell me, why is PhpStorm scanning my emails in home directory? Are you sending it to CIA or what?
The source code is in /data/src/abcdef and there is no symlink to my home dir.
100% cpu load, many GB in /home/user/.PhpStorm, and no use of it.
Version 163.10504.2. OS: openSUSE 13.1 x64

Please remove the dot from Settings | Languages & Frameworks | PHP | PHP Includes.
We have this issue fixed in EAP.

And is it possible to clear the following dirs?
/home/howard/.PhpStorm2016.3/system/caches
/home/howard/.PhpStorm2016.3/system/index
They contain many GB.

No -- it's per project setting. But not every project may have such "." entry.

Yes -- either empty them while IDE is closed... or "File | Invalidate Caches..." and restart IDE.
