Pressing Undo deletes file
Sometimes I will hold the undo hot key to undo some changes. What I've noticed since the last version is if I have recently created a file it just keeps undoing and deletes my file ( which is really annoying).
There used to be a prompt. Then I could redo a few changes back to where I wanted it.
How can I get the prompt back so undo doesn't just delete the file. I would think there is a setting somewhere but I can't find anything in the settings or searching on this topic anywhere else.
Thanks!

I've just checked and Undo actually asks for confirmation when a file is about to get deleted. What OS & IDE version are you running?
Please try a reboot and check if the issue reoccurs.
Hi Dmitry, I am using Ubuntu 16.04 and the IDE version is 2016.1.1
I used to see a confirmation but I don't anymore.
As far as rebooting, the problem started a long time ago (Honestly I thought I had accidentally checked a box that said remember and don't ask again when I was typing when it popped up haha) and I've rebooted many times and it still happens... I press ctrl+z and it just deletes the file and undoes the last change in the previous file and then I can't redo. I thought maybe there was a setting somewhere I missed.
I see now I'm on an older version and there is an update so I can try but I feel like there would be a setting for this somewhere. Especially since it used to ask.
Are you sure there isn't a setting somewhere?
Thanks

At least, I can't remember such an option. Please try upgrading to 2016.1.2, I've just tested this in Ubuntu 16.04: I created a file, made a couple of changes there and then pressed Ctrl+Z several times - when it came to deleting the file, it asked for confirmation.
