Upgraded to IntelliJ 2017.1, python console no longer showing output when running.
Answered
Hi All,
So this morning I completed the upgrade to 2017.1. I have got the python add on updated, and SDK selected (python 3.5). In the IDE I have the python console window open, and in the previous version, when I right clicked on a tab and selected Run (or ctrl+shift+f10) I would be able to see the output in the console and this is no longer the case. There is no longer any output in the console.
Is anybody else seeing this, have I missed something out in the process of upgrading?

Python add on that was upgraded today seems to have fixed this.
I have been running 2017.1 without this problem until today. The start of the problem for me today did not coincide with any upgrade to the python plugin or to IntelliJ itself. I have rebooted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, to no avail. At a bit of a loss. This makes debugging difficult.
Hi Eric Harley! Unfortunately, Python Debug Console doesn't work when debugging tests, it's known problem: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-22505.
