Combine PERL and XML syntax highlighting
Hello,
is there a way to have PERL and XML syntax highlighting for a specific file extension? I want it just the way it works with PHP, where I can use HTML or SQL code in .php files and PHPStorm recognizes the language. How can I achieve this with PERL and XML?

This is available for XML but not for XML unfortunately, see https://www.jetbrains.com/help/phpstorm/2017.1/language-injections.html
Isn't this somehow possible with Project Settings | Template Data Languages? It would be so great, if there was any way to do this!
This is mainly an IDEA preference focused on Velocity and FreeMaker file extensions. I haven't checked yet but most likely its support isn't bundled with PhpStorm.
