Changing color of menus and toolbars

Answered

Hi everybody. I am trying to find a way to change the color of the area around the editor. When i switch to Dracula, it doesnt match the color of the editor background and stays grey. I once suceeded and changed the color, but the thing is that i cannot remember how I did it. Maybe there is a way to edit the Dracula theme file and change the default color to a custom one?

So here is what i have now:And here is what I had before i updated to 2016.3.5

Hi!

Could you please check that in `File | Settings | Editor | Colors & Fonts` in all subtabs (Font, General etc) there is `Darcula` scheme?

I am experiencing the same problem - I want the menu to be the same colour as the editor.

Dracula is chosen for each item under Preferences | Editor | Color Scheme and everywhere I managed to find an option to use it. The project pane on the left never matches the editor background.

I've just updated to PhpStorm 2017.3 and now that Color Ide has stopped working I have the same problem. I find the colour scheme of tree view on the left almost unreadable and a real cause of eye strain! Please either give us the option to change these colours or give us an official version of something similar to "Color Ide".

Seems this is the related issue - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-68337. Please feel free to comment or upvote.

So, this is 3 years later, but...

Look at the themes under Appearance & Behavior / Appearance: Theme.

This list does not match the themes in Editor / Color Scheme: ...

If you want them to match, you'll have to select one of the themes that is common to both areas.

(I needed to toggle the selection in the first list because it got stuck on a previous theme)
