Way to save files for compare

Hello - I have some Joomla sites with template overrides.

When Joomla or it's extensions are updated, I need to check/compare these files.

Not all of the files are in the same directory, there could be 20 different directories and only one or two files from those directories may need checking

For example 

• /components/com_contact/views/contact/default_address.php   >>  html/com_contact/contact/default_address.php
• /layouts/joomla/content    >>   /html/layouts/joomla/content

Is there a way I can save my full list of files to check on a project-by-project basis?
