DataGrip Intellisense - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

Hello,

MSSQL user, 2014 SP2/CUx.

I can't seem to figure out why Intellisense will just stop working sometimes in a console, and sometimes my database list of databases has the caret just disappear for no apparent reason by the databases and I can no longer review schemas or objects. Re-synchronizing or removing the data source doesn't seem to do any good either.

Am I going crazy, or do others experience this at random too?

Long story short, this was my own doing.

It was/is my misunderstanding of how schemas work - I'm very used to SSMS I'm afraid. If you check "All Databases" that doesn't mean that any schemas get checked below. That was the key.

Hi,

It's still strange since it should select all schemas for all databases. Do you have privileges for any schemas in the databases?

Do you have privileges for any schemas in the databases?

Also, it's useful to know your DataGrip version.

Thank you.

Vasily,

I have dbo admin rights for the entire server, using windows auth. I can see all the other schemas, but checking the box next to the database doesn't auto-check all schemas below it (which is what I expected). Instead, it just checks the database box. Same for, "all databases" check box.
