React autocomplete bug

If I copy a react component as a template & and paste it to another file and change the required propTypes, when I go to create the new component, intelliJ autocompletes all of the OLD propTypes from the initial template component and then complains that the new component is missing propTypes(which are not really there). This persists thru closing & re-opening the IDE.

Also, is there a way to get the autocomplete to generate an opening & closing component tag instead of a self-closing tag?

1. please try invalidating caches (File | Invalidate caches, restart) - does the problem persist? If yes, can you provide a sample project that shows up the issue?

2. no, please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-26468

Ugh, I would just hate to loose my local history as that is super helpful to me. Any other way?

please provide a project then, so that I can check if this is a bug or a broken indexes issue

How would I go about doing that?

You can upload it to file server and provide a link...

you have provided Idea settings and caches, not the project... from the log it seems that the caches might indeed be broken, but I.m not sure if this is the issue. If indexes are corrupted, invalidating caches is the only way to go. But it won't necessary fix your problem
