Updating symbols at every new source!

I started a new project that uses the Boost library. Every time I add a new c++ class then I face 5 minutes of "updating symbols". I can't get anything accomplished like this. I'm back to using sublime until I can figure this out. What should be my steps to resolving this or providing better feedback to resolve it?
