Not able to identify ruby file extension

When i create a ruby file from New --> File and give the file name with extension .rb. It is not recognizing as ruby file and the syntaxes are not highlighted and no auto suggest.
showing as normal file instead of ruby file. seeing just today. any idea ?

Hello,
Most possible you have added this file as pattern for Text files. Please open Settings | Editor | File Types, find in the list of Recognised File Types type Text, then remove from Registered Patterns name of your file, save settings. Let me know if it doesn't work.
