Where are plugins stored?

I am using Windows 7 and I downloaded the .ignore and BashSupport plugins using the Browse repositories button in the settings menu. When I went to look where they were installed I could not find them.

 I would expect them to be in C:\Program Files\JetBrains\PyCharm 2017.1.3\plugins but I don't see them.

Is there a special place plugins installed through the Browse repositories button are saved?

Hi Cwinget2014! Plugins are stored in C:\Users\%USER%\.PyCharm%VERSION%\config\plugins. Check this link for more info: Directories used by the IDE to store settings, caches, plugins and logs.

Thank you! I misread that the first time and didn't notice it was under Users.
