Tables nor other objects being shown

I've just downloaded this application to evaluate for my team for possible license purchase. However, I'm not getting very far.

After adding an Oracle database connection, which test successfully, I see no tables, views, or other objects for a given schema. I can't browse tables nor other objects. However, SQL does execute if I input a query in a new worksheet.

Attached is a screenshot of the Database pane. I don't see any indications of activity, besides maybe "Schemas..." in grey. I've left the application open and alone for maybe 30 minutes, and still no change.

Help, please. I really want to be able to recommend this software.
