Help - Structure View not showing any methods or variables? (plus other odd things)

I've been having some weird issues with PHPStorm since last week.  This is on 2017.1.4 stable version running on a Mac, and has been completely uninstalled and reinstalled (with a Settings reimport).  Essentially whenever you bring up the Structure view (either side panel, or quick view) the class appears empty.  This happens on different projects and codebases.

It's also happening alongside other weird bugs where certain characters can't be typed (comma, new lines, braces etc.) and also the Find and Open Class features cease to work.

I've tried disabling all custom Addons (only had a Material Theme addon) but to no avail.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for finding logs or debugging this, it would be massively appreciated.
