Appcode not identifying "~" Path

Currently using AppCode 2017.2.1 EAP
I have 2 projects in a workspace, one is located in the Home directory for compatibility issues with other developers. While Xcode has no problem finding the "~" path, Appcode seems to have a problem with it. I am guessing is not set correctly
2:39 PM Portal.xcodeproj: File not found: ~/Carthage/Portal/Portal.xcodeproj
Any ideas how to set it?

Hi,
Could you please send build logs from AppCode (Messages tool window | Show Build Log) and Xcode to appcode-support@jetbrains.com. Also please collect idea.log from Help | Show Log in Finder and send it as well.
