Bind find replace pattern to keyboard shorcut ?

It would be really useful to be able to bind an often-used find/replace pattern (or just find pattern) to a keyboard shortcut.
Is it possible in current versions ? I tried macros but they didn't help as they are just recording keystrokes.

Sometimes I do a complex find/replace action with regexes . I'd like to save those settings (find/replace patterns and options), be able to call them back and, maybe bind them to a keyboard shortcut, so I can apply the same find/replace action at a later time.
I know about pattern history, but it's not really convenient as you have to find your find pattern in the history, then the replace pattern, and then set the other options manually.
Of course a better macro system would allow me to that by myself :)
