Editor tabs behave unpredicably

Hello there, I'm constantly confused when I'm working with several files and the new file is open after the current one. It messes up the order of tabs (e.g. I remember that 'SomeFile.js' was on the third position but suddenly it gets on the fourth one etc.). Is there a way to make it work like in other IDEs - when the new tab is always opens to the right of all tabs?
