Can't seem to prevent closing Project window with keyboard shortcut

I assigned Ctrl+W to Main Menu > Window > Editor Tabs > Close, but it also will close the Project window if I happen to be focused on it (even inadvertently).

I'm not seeing how to prevent this, as Ctrl+W is only assigned to one thing.
