integrated terminal -> start in project folder

In what folder does it open?

What is your WebStorm version? Could you please provide idea.log (Help | Show Log in Finder) after reproducing the issue?

It opens in the root project folder, and not in the subfolder of the application so to say.

It should open in the root of the project.

I have the same issue with WebStorm. On one of my computers the terminal always opens in my home directory instead of the project directory. I checked theWebStorm settings and according to WebStorm the start dir is the project path but it doesn't do it in practice. Not sure what is going on. I checked my .bashrc but couldn't really find any settings that would affect this. 

Do you have `cd` commands defined in your bashrc, etc? what OS are you on, what do your terminal preferences look like?
