Is there any way to manually create the ruby_stubs?

There is a problem with the creation of ruby_stubs with the remote SDK > SSH. (See https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RUBY-20579).

Since everything not related to the ruby_stubs in RM works well, I suppose that if there is any workaround or command that would allow me to create the ruby_stubs needed, I would be able to use RM with the app setup that I need now, without waiting weeks or months in order to get a release with the fix.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Solved! The problem is that the remote SDK > SSH Credential does not pass the port where the SSH may run. If you have a SDK on a port that is not 22, you are out of look with the ruby_stubs.

That is a big problem, because you may need to have different remotes at different ports on the same host at the same time, but you cannot have them if you must use the same port! Also RM remote will not allow you to create another SDK. Anyway, at least it works if you use them one by one.

Hello Domizio,

Unfortunately there is no ability to create ruby_stubs manually. Anyway we will try to fix related issues (wit downloading gems) to help you. Sorry for inconveniences :(

No problem. Sometimes it does work, sometimes it doesn't. It looks like a problem with rsync and some combination of ports, project settings and some voodoo sorcery. I reported what I could find in the ticket: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RUBY-20579. Thanks.
