Can't find available profiles Maven

When Trying to import any maven project it gets stuck on scanning maven projects (.../pom.xml) and then closes.
Have tried using the bundled maven and I have downloaded maven and tried using that one, with no success.

This also happens when trying to create a new project! :(

Fixed.
Had to remove -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true from .vmoptions
