It is still the issue in PyCharm 2023.1.3 RC (Professional Edition)

Same problem here. It is using an outdate cached file: /Users/xxxx/Library/Caches/JetBrains/PyCharm2023.2/remote_sources/836703876/-1466262680/examples/dev/myfile.py

Antonina Belianskaya What will it take to solve this? It's a major bug rendering a unique selling point of your product unusable, yet for years we've had this problem?

This is a known issue, unfortunately. 

 

Please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-49805/Remote-interpreter-sources-used-from-old-IDE-files. in order to increase its priority.

yes, this is extremely annoying. What's more, it only affects one project out of many that I have, with no discernible differences in their configuration. It would be so nice to have this finally solved.
