PyCharm remote R error on Ubunut, No rplugin directory?
Hey everyone,
I have a similar - if not same issue as reported [here](https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009755299-Pycharm-R-error-Cannot-run-console-RWrapper-terminated-exit-code-1). I understand that there is an [open issue](https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/R-1043) for this already too.
However, I'm running PyCharm professional Version 2022.2.3. on ubuntu 20.04.5.
I can't apply the recommended workaround since I simply don't have a rplugin directory. But "R language for IntelliJ" is installed and I can use it normally (if not with the remote setup).
Is there any other way I can use the workaround to get the remote R interpreter working?
Best,
Vic-Fabienne
