XML's Layout Resreshing Every Change

I do not have an incredible pc, but it usually does the job, but since I started to code in XML, the layout keeps refreshing every time, and it makes me unable to type because it slows down my pc. There is even a shortcut to refresh it, but I can't find anything to make it stop refreshing automatically. Does this option exist and if so, how do I enable it ?
