Cannot paste multiline into new UI for IDE
In the new UI, if I copy other code blocks in the IDE, the newline character will be lost when pasting, which can be seen in right-click->Copy/Paste Special >Paste from History, and the content with newline will be copied and the newline character will be lost during the copy operation , but the content with missing line breaks will be sorted first

How did you copy the code? I can only see the one with new line characters in my copy history.
I copied my code using CTRL C in the IDE,my operating system is Windows 11 22H2, IDE version is 2023.1.1

Do you have any 3rd party plugins enabled? Does it help if you disable them?
I only have one Requirements plugin in Pycharm, and it didn’t improve after disable it. I think it should be a Windows bug, because this situation also appears in editors such as Notepad
