CompilerManager fails while build in IDEA succeeds

In a certain tool I need to execute some class built by the project, so I trigger the compilation with:
CompilerManager.getInstance(toolWindow.project).compile(psiClass.module!!)
The problem is that it fails with this error:
Kotlin: The provided plugin com.google.devtools.ksp.KotlinSymbolProcessingComponentRegistrar is not compatible with this version of compiler.

However if I build the project within the IDE it works, it just fails when triggering the compiler programmatically. Do you have any idea why?

Do you have some plugin using
KotlinSymbolProcessingComponentRegistrarin some way? Please check classpath contains all necessary dependencies.
