Debug react typescript in Webstorm with Okta redirect

I am having trouble getting debugging to work with my react app that I have written in typescript. I also have an okta redirect. Somewhere web storm is being tripped up when I follow the traditional web storm debug guides. Has anyone gotten a simular combination to work?

Debugging works fine for me using the https://github.com/okta-samples/okta-react-sample
What steps did you follow to debug your code? Please refer to
