Unable to automatically save

Could you please clarify a bit. Do you mean that files are not saved while editing? What options are selected in “Settings/Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings”?

Idea means that input cannot continue for more than 1 second on all pages before it will be automatically saved, while vscode means that as long as input does not continue for more than 1 second on the current page, it will be automatically saved. Anyway, it doesn't feel as smooth as vscode.

 Sorry, but it's still not clear. Do you need to have file saved automatically after 1 second of idle?
