PHPStorm Git window shows file in green font
My user complained that code which I had believed to have been committed and pushed was not working. When I examined the Git page I saw that all the files were presented in light blue except this one. I assume that this green font says that the file was not committed.
I have no understanding why it was not committed , and I do not know how to get this file uploaded to my repo.

Hi,
There are different shades of green in VCS statuses. Please check this screenshot with default colors, do you recall which exact green color was it?
Thank you for helping out. I do not understand what is happening, I pushed to my repo and now I see the below. as you can see in the case of the “edit teachers”, when I open the file, the who thing has a green background. Many Thanks!

Thanks for your help - no I have only one change list. However, what I have noticed is if I open a blue file I get a diff file, but when I open a green file there is no diff file, just a single view like what is featured above. Maybe it does not have a diff?? I don't know.

Thank you I figured it out. It was painted green on the grounds that nothing has changed in it.
