Tabs and Indents are breaking after period of usage

I don't know what has changed… but within last few weeks… suddenly I am having lots of issues with indents.  In both Typescript/HTML etc (probably others)

My files all suddenly ignore settings and revert to 4 spaces…. copy/paste is also a hot mess because of this.

Completely restarted IDE and re-opening… DOES fix it… for a short time.
