Connecting to Redis Cluster Failed with "wrong number of arguments for 'auth' command"

Connecting to URL of format: 

jdbc:redis:cluster://:[password]@[ip]:6379, [other nodes…]

Failed, and throws,

redis.clients.jedis.exceptions.JedisDataException: ERR wrong number of arguments for 'auth' command
