Connect to Gateway with GSSAPI key exchange

Is it possible to use GSSAPI key exchange for connecting to a Gateway backend server from Gateway client running on windows? If this is not possible as of now, are there any plans to make this work in the future?

There are no such plans, sorry. SSH remains the main connection method.

May you provide an example? I suppose you mean an external auth provider but not sure.

So my understanding is that gateway uses an SSH client that is built into it. I am asking about the possibility of letting users specify a path to the SSH client that will be used.  VSCode lets users set the property remote.SSH.path to specify the path of SSH client.
