I would like a feature in the navigator where you can expand a kotlin file and show its content.
When you expand a package, it lists all classes, objects and interfaces. It should also be possible to expand a kotlin file, so you can see its content without having to open the file

Do you mean Project View? We have a feature request for it — KTIJ-21708 Kotlin class/file should be expandable as Java.
