Can not replace or update OpenJDK (MacOS)

Hi,
I have been trying to update the version of java in my project and no matter what I did, the project itself keep saying that I am on 1.8. How can I solve this issue? I need to run on 11+.

Please check JDK settings in these places:
IDEA | Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Build Tools | Maven | Importing
IDEA | Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Build Tools | Maven | Runner
And File | Project Structure.
