Schemas with dots (.) in the name

Our database schemas have periods/dots in their names like product.vendor.

IIn Database Explorer if I am in the product.vendor schema and I right click on a table > SQL Scripts > Select all rows from a table I expect and want product.vendor to be displayed like [product.vendor].

I cannot figure out what combinations of settings will do this. I have made it do [product].[vendor] but that is wrong.

I am on 2024.1.2
