Mac Upgrade Error - app-client.jar

Upgrading from 2023.3.5 to 2024.1 received this error:

Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Surely there could be a conflict somehow, no idea who/why/how, but how do I push through this?

Hi, does the error happen when launching the IDE? Please try reinstalling the IDE from https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/.

No, it happens during the install trying to upgrade from 2023.3.5 to 2024.1

2023.3.5 runs perfectly fine. Can't upgrade to latest.

How did you update? Patch-update from the IDE, or using Toolbox?

Could you please try installing PyCharm 2024.1 from https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/ to another directory and check if you can run it?
