So much false positive inspections lately

I don't know why, but lately (like 1.5-2 months) I'm getting so much false positive errors. For instance, I'm creating a function, writing body, then boom, IDE complains there is no body. I'm working on a project, closes it, the next day opening and boom, almost all packages are “unknown”.

Always Invalidating Caches works but it's really boring to have to do it. Is there any known issue?

Here're example:

Hi Merz,

Vadym with the JetBrains support team is here. Thank you for your report. Could you please provide a bit more info to start the investigation?

  1. Please share IDE logs (Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data) with us. You can upload the files here and send us the link - https://uploads.jetbrains.com/
  2. Does the issue come up in all projects, or just in a specific one?
  3. Have you noticed any pattern that helps reliably reproduce the problem? Perhaps it comes up when there are several projects opened on the screen, or while editing a specific package, etc?

Hey Vadym, thank you for reaching out.

If helps, I can create an issue on YouTrack also.

  1. When to share? Now there is no problem. Now or when happens? If now: (2024_06_18_U2wEHReD1N9fjpCHiEbmnw)
  2. Almost all projects.
  3. I'm not 100% sure, but running a project (build and run) does that mostly. When running a project like 30-ish minutes. Also, I've some files which reaches 1000+ lines. I guess problem occurs mostly while editing them, not sure if it's relevant. Also, mostly have several projects on screen, so can't say if it triggers.

I am also getting a lot of false positive inspections. I have to restart the IDE each time to clear these hallucinations. I don't think this issue is specific to just one project. I think I've seen this issue with a couple of projects I've been working on, and it has been happening quite frequently which is starting to get really annoying.

Mert Özgür Akdeniz Thank you for providing the log files. I can see multiple severe errors there. However, it is indeed hard to understand if those are related to the problem you raised. I'd kindly ask you to reproduce the issue and then share the logs right after that to make sure we can look at the most recent events. Also, if there any chance you could provide an example of a project where the problem comes up for you?

aricjiang89 Thank you for commenting on this. Would you mind elaborating about the issues you're having in more details? Are the inspections the same as Mert is seeing on his end, or some other inspections fail? I'd kindly ask you to provide logs as well, screenshots to illustrate the problem and project files where the issue is stably reproducible for you.

Thank you!
