Facing connection errors when trying to connect DataGrip to a MySQL database?

Has anyone encountered persistent connection errors when trying to connect DataGrip to a MySQL database? Despite following standard setup procedures, I continue to face issues. Could overlooked settings or configurations within DataGrip be contributing to this problem? Additionally, are there any known bugs or limitations in DataGrip that might cause such connection hiccups? Lastly, how can I enable more detailed logging or diagnostic information in DataGrip to aid in troubleshooting?

Hi,

Please upload the idea log from Help - Show Log in Files onto our FTP server https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and include the upload id in your reply.

You can also have a look at the following articles related to the connectivity issues:

https://www.jetbrains.com/help/datagrip/connectivity-problems.html

https://www.jetbrains.com/help/datagrip/cannot-connect-to-a-database-because-of-sslhandshakeexception.html#sslhandshakeexception-mysql

You can extend the logging in the Show JDBC Log settings, but usually, the standard logging level is sufficient for troubleshooting issues of that kind.
