Converting Atom plugin into an Idea plugin?

Hi, 

I'm trying to provide support for PureScript in intellij idea and there is a great Atom plugin used by the community atom-ide-purescript.

Is there any way I can reuse what has already being done and port it into an intellij plugin?

Just wondering if anyone had managed to port over a similar language support from an atom plugin.
