Lens Mode in Darcula Look-and-Feel is Broken

Hi - am loving PHPStorm; but infuriated with the Lens mode...

I've discovered that it's not working for me in Darcula (which I use) - but fine in IntelliJ and Windows (which I don't use)

The Lens-mode window appears right-shifted so that it is to the right of the line-numbers, so doesn't line up with the code - and most importantly, puts the window underneath the mouse pointer; so as soon as the mouse moves - the lens disappears, making it almost useless.

I've installed the EAP version too and it's still doing it.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Could you provide a screencast or some screenshots that would illustrate the described behavior?

Vladimir, Hi

It's not happened since I last wrote - and bingo! it's back again today. See screenshot below.  As soon as the mouse is moved, the lens vanishes because the mouse is over the lens, which is shifted to the right (the numbers don't overlap). Only when the mouse stops completely does the lens reappear.

In the screen shot the mouse pointer is vertically in the middle of the lens, and horizontally over the RHS colour-key column (where it would be to trigger lens mode)

Using 2016.2.2 on Windows 10.

When I open the Project Toolpanel in the left hand window, it's fine - but as soon as I close the Project Toolpanel it's wrong again.  It's the same on all tabs in the current project.  Opening either the Project or Structure Toolpanel fixes the issue - but having a RHS toolpanel open REALLY screws it up if there are no LH tool panels... See images below

In distraction free mode, the lens doesn't appear (not sure if that's a bug or by design) and also if the 'hide toolbars' button (bottom LH corner) - then the lens doesn't appear *if* all the panels are hidden.  If any of the tool panels are open - it's the same as above (i.e. works if there is a panel in the LHS, but broken if the LH panels are closed)

I pass through the same problem with 2017.1.4 on Ubuntu 16.04.

Still the same problem and no response, I've got this problem on my macOS since early last year, and before that it worked great, I stoped using the darkula appearance because of that, hope to get a solution for this bug soon. Same problem for 1 year and not a message from the dev team.

Try to find the most matching ticket and ask for updates there: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA?q=lens

P.S. I do not use Darcula theme myself + I cannot figure out (after having a quick read) of what exactly the problem you are having so cannot help in locating such most appropriate ticket.
